Finally Rockets Was Able To Sign Omer After Bulls Fails To Match Offer

Houston Rockets long seeking dream of having a super star center finally came true after they successfully closed deal with Omer Asik previously playing for Chicago Bulls. This happened when Bulls decided not to match the offer of 25 Million three year contract offered by Rockets.

Omer Asik who is Turkish national basketball player commonly known as Big man with 7 foot height and 255 pounds weight was a center of attention for Houston Rockets after they fail to get number one Center Dwight Howard from Orlando Magic. Omer who has been playing for Chicago bulls since first drafted in 2008 by portland has a remarkable career stats as a rebounder and defender.

According to Houston Coach Kevin McHale " Ive admired his physical style of play over the past two seasons as he has made the transition to the NBA. In his limited minutes, he has proved himself to be an exceptional defensive post player and we will be working with him to continue his progress. Omer has a great understanding of how to play defense and how to move without the ball and I know he will fit in very well with our needs in the low post.

Now the desire of Houston having good center is completed we are yet to see whether they will be able to make their way into NBA Finals this time after missing for three consecutive years.
