Atlanta Hawks are busy in adjusting their guard position and the recent development is shooting guard Willie Green traded to LA Clippers. According to this deal Hawks acquire the rights for forward Sofoklis Schortsanitis who is a Cameron player yet to feature in NBA.

Willie Green who was first picked by Seattle SuperSonics in 2003 NBA Draft was traded to Philadelphia 76ers started his NBA career with 76ers averaging 12.4 points and 2.0 assists with them. Other teams he has played for are New Orleans Hornets and Atlanta Hawks. His career stats are 9.1 points and 1.5 assists in 552 games he has played so far.

During the building process of Atlanta Hawks, the other major changes involved are trading All-Star Joe Johnson, acquiring Devin Harris, Anthony Morrow, Jordan Farmer and DeShawn Stevenson. Their bench grew further strong with addition of Lou Williams and John Jenkins. It seems as if Hawks have a different plan of using these guards for trading purposed in future.
